2022 Aligoté

Aligoté derives from Burgundy, France where you may find it as a single varietal wine, in a blend, or in a sparkling wine such as a Crémant de Bourgogne. We planted our Aligoté vines in 2017.  While Aligoté may be compared to her sister, Chardonnay, this varietal is known for its bright acidity and refreshing minerality. A nose of lemon and herbs and on the palate apple, pear, citrus and spice with beautiful salinity. Aligoté pairs wonderfully with fish dishes, soups, cream sauces and gooey cheeses.
